Here at Cayman Boba, we believe that it’s our mission to not only improve our brand and provide the most delicious, high-quality flavours but also to inspire our island to dream big and seek adventure.
Founded in Grand Cayman, on May 7th, 2021, we’re Cayman’s only virtual bubble tea shop. We consider ourselves a virtual bubble tea shop, because it is our focus to sell and fulfill bubble tea orders online for delivery. We took on the challenge of satisfying adventurous tastebuds by making bubble tea that tastes good. We value your wants and needs, so we tailor every cup to your individual taste and sweetness preference.
Cayman Boba’s intention is to share the bubble tea culture and taste with our paradise. We are continuously developing new and innovative drinks to ensure that there’s a beverage for everyone!
So How Did Cayman Boba Become A Thing?
In 2021, university student, Alicia, had to get creative to fundraise for her volunteer trip to South Africa for the summer. After many unprofitable ideas, she was in search for her favourite de-stressing drink from university: Bubble Tea. Then, the light bulb above her head flashed so bright that she immediately knew that she discovered her new venture.
Furthermore, she shared her idea with her family and friends, but the name “Bubble Tea” was very foreign to them, actually… it was unknown to majority of the island. Although she had an obsession with bubble tea and wanted to share this delicious beverage with the rest of the country, she had to weigh the risks. Days passed and she finally made the decision to start a virtual bubble tea shop. Alicia then recruited her sister, Abigail, to be the chef and together they created Cayman Boba.
